During summertime swimming and playing in the lake is a particularly attractive option while during autumn and winter peaceful time in front of the fireplace or long walks through the natural environment provide you with an alternative.
The “Seehaus” Brodowin has its own private access to the lake - only one of two houses that have a private access to the huge Parsteinsee. Hence you almost have the lake to your own! Rowing, bathing, tanning on the wooden platform in the lake or even fishing are all activities you can do in and around the lake. The rowing boat is available on the shoreline.
The garden with the many fruit trees is an exciting playground for children. The small woods on the shore also provide wonderful spots for many exciting adventures!
The surrounding plains and woods are ideal for bicycle trips and walks. From the close-by hill “Kleiner Rummelsberg” you can enjoy a spectacular view right up to the Oderbruch, which is especially nice to combine with a picknick.
The surrounding area has many interesting destinations for daytrips.
The metropolis of Berlin can be reached from the train station Chorin, which is 10 minutes away. The train ride takes about 45 minutes to Berlin Central Station.
